LABOR LAW §241(6)

Under New York’s Labor Law, Section 241(6) covers non-gravity related construction site accidents including injuries caused by equipment and tools, accidents in trenches, trips and falls in corridors and passage ways where tripping hazardous may exist, injuries caused by unguarded machinery and tools, and all other forms of accidents which may occur but are not caused by a falling object or a worker falling from a height.

The Industrial Code of the State of New York applies to all such accidents and attorneys working in this area of the law must be fully familiar with the Industrial Code Sections which will apply to an injured worker’s claim.  The lawyers of Pazer Epstein Jaffe Fein & Gozenput, P.C. are well versed in Labor Law §241(6) claims and know the Industrial Code well.  To the extent a claim can be brought that is not caused by a gravity related accident we will research your case thoroughly and make sure to put forth a claim in full to seek a recovery on your behalf.
